The 2012 London Olympics was a truly iconic event that cemented the legacy of our capital city into Olympic folklore. Fulcro were incredibly proud to play their part in delivering this prestigious project.

A highly elaborate and detailed design proposal was needed to ensure there were no significant delays or risks to the development. Fulcro was appointed to develop a 3D model that would show exactly how the construction would take place, and how the project would progress through every level. We established a Baseline 3D Model of Stage E design, and managed the incorporation of information from the various trades into a fully coordinated digital prototype.

Once the 3D model was created the design could then be managed and changes assessed with ease. This model also became a baseline for conflict resolution. Clashes and conflicts were resolved within a 3D virtual environment and the solutions communicated in a clear and concise manner resulting in reduced issues during construction on-site.
