This particular project saw Fulcro successfully deliver its Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction processes and technologies for this landmark development in Brooklyn, New York City.
The B2 461 Dean Street is the world’s tallest volumetric modular building, with 32 storeys, 363 apartments and 930 modules. The tower was built by Forest City Ratner Companies, with each module constructed in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Roger Krulak, Senior VP of Modular Construction, Forest City Ratner Companies:
“The Fulcro team has been on site since day one and they’ve helped us translate, integrate and federate all of the information from both our suppliers and from the architects and engineers of record, in order to make those drawings into usable production drawings. Providing resolutions to anything that happened from inception until the actual installation of the product. We are looking at Fulcro to become a team player for us worldwide.”
Being able to work closely alongside the client has been key to this project’s success and that’s something that sits right at the heart of Fulcro’s philosophy. Our outlook has always been on putting the client first and that’s something that is replicated throughout all of our projects.
