Dr Maxwell Mallia-Parfitt brings world-leading virtual reality experience to Fulcro
Fulcro has recently appointed Dr Maxwell Mallia-Parfitt to capitalise on his research expertise in the use of fully immersive Virtual Reality in the Construction sector.
His experience visualising large infrastructure projects, such as Crossrail’s Whitechapel site, enables Fulcro to deploy the latest Virtual Reality technology in the delivery of projects. This appointment means Fulcro can provide access to model data efficiently using virtual reality technology for tasks such as; design review, vendor briefing and scheduling tasks.
Dr Maxwell Mallia-Parfitt joins Fulcro from the Design Innovation Research Centre at the University of Reading, where he developed new technologies specifically for the construction sector to enable users to stand inside BIM/CAD models at life-size 1:1 scale anywhere in the world.
Maxwell commented: “I am very excited to join Fulcro, especially as digital content is becoming a major part of project delivery.
