Innovation the key for Fulcro at Digital Construction Week 2018

Fulcro are delighted to report that the prestigious Digital Construction Week (DCW) exhibition was an unmitigated success with a huge amount interest from attendees in its full selection of services and products.

The Fulcro team on the ground provided an engaging and thought provoking presence throughout the event, highlighting the wide range of innovative and revolutionary Fulcro services and solutions to a collection of distinguished attendees. Fulcro’s core philosophy has always been based on innovation and that was evident in the presentations given at both the exhibition stand and by Fulcro Applied Technologies Director, Dr Max Mallia Parfitt on the event’s main stage.

Dr Parfitt’s talk was very well attended and the feedback received was excellent and overwhelmingly positive. The presentation covered how the use of immersive Virtual Reality (VR) in construction is widely considered too expensive, but with an engaged client and the right technology platform, the potential return on investment and project improvement is unrivalled. The talk also lifted the lid on how using the FULmax ‘BIM CAVE’ on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, which also recently featured in a BBC documentary, has improved the project delivery since it was installed.

Ben Haldin, Managing Director, Fulcro, said: “Our journey has always had the idea of innovation right at the forefront, so it’s only natural for Digital Construction Week to be a really significant date in our calendar. I truly believe that DCW has once again been a successful platform for us to market ourselves and our technology and really highlight the worldwide potential that our services provide.

“We’ve already worked on numerous projects across the globe with our technology being implemented in various situations in several major cities and DCW was the perfect place to communicate our successes back to the market.

“Moving forward, we’re really excited about what the future holds for Fulcro and based on the large-scale projects we’re currently working on, alongside our prospective work, it’s going to continue to be an incredibly busy but rewarding period.”

Dr Max Mallia Parfitt, Applied Technologies Director, Fulcro, said: “Digital Construction Week 2018 has once again been a fantastic experience for us. We’ve been able to successfully showcase a variety of our projects, including FulMAx, which has generated a large amount of interest both at the exhibition and across social media.

“It was a real privilege to be able to speak at the event specifically about our FulMAX technology, which really shows how pivotal VR technology is becoming in shaping our modern day construction projects.”

Fulcro would like to thank everyone who visited the exhibition stand or took part in our presentations at DCW 2018
