The B2 Pacific Park project in Brooklyn is the world’s tallest volumetric modular building, with 32 storeys, 363 apartments and 930 modules. The tower was built by Forest City Ratner Companies, with modules constructed in the Brooklyn Navy Yard before being shipped to site to be erected.
Fulcro used a range of BIM and Virtual Design and Construction processes and technologies to ensure that the design and manufacture of the modules in the factory was fully coordinated and to a high level of accuracy, so that the work and disruption on site is minimised.
"The Fulcro team has been on site since day one and they've helped us translate, integrate and federate all of the information from both our suppliers and from the architects and engineers of record, in order to make those drawings into usable production drawings and solve all of the conflicts in process, and provide resolutions to anything that has happened from inception until the actual installation of the product. We are looking at Fulcro to become a team player for us worldwide."
