Ahead of Digital Construction Week 2019, we sat down with our Applied Technologies Director, Dr Max Mallia-Parfitt, to discuss his upcoming presentation and talks at this world-renowned exhibition.
Dr Mallia-Parfitt, has previously delivered key talks at DCW events in recent times and is looking forward to the opportunity to discuss some of the big technology and innovation topics facing the construction industry.
“DCW is an event that is a hugely significant date in our calendar. The two-day event provides us with a fantastic opportunity to engage with an audience that is focused towards delivering positive change to the construction industry through the application of innovative technology. This falls perfectly in line with our own core business philosophy and helps generate a real ‘buzz’ around the FULmax on the exhibition floor.
“This year, I’m fortunate to have the chance to host three separate presentation sessions across the DCW 2019 event and I’ll be covering a wide range of issues that are crucial to the future health of the construction industry.
“This will include a spotlight on the value of digital twins and the real-world benefits of using immersive VR technology. I’ll be also highlighting key examples of how the FULmax technology;
• Improved construction site standards
• Reduced risk
• The importance of 4D scheduling
• Ensures positive public and stakeholders’ engagement
“We’re also incredibly excited to be showcasing a preview of the world’s first tool for real-time immersive visualisation of models, and data, from Revit with a very special partner organisation; make sure you are at the Visualisation Theatre on Day 2 at 13:30 for this session and join us on stand C42 for drinks at the end of Day 1 to have a go!”
